About Me
Born and bred in the UK, I moved to Greece in my early twenties and never looked back. I now live in east Crete with my Greek family and run my own business. Having worked frequently with the Greek state sector too along the way, I’d say I have in-depth knowledge of how things work out here. So, after the decision by the UK to withdraw from the EU, I decided to put my practical skills to good use by taking on the role of sole admin of the citizens’ rights Facebook group ‘British in Greece’. Since then, I’ve increased its membership from just 18 members to 18,000 and have helped many secure their rights to carry on living and working in Greece by providing well-sourced, individually-tailored, hands-on advice. We’ve gathered all the relevant legislation, directives and guidelines on the page and combine this with huge stores of combined wisdom and experience.
We’ve now turned our attention to ‘newcomer’ UK nationals wishing to enter Greece under the Greek Migration Code. I realise it can be baffling but I can help you get a grip on it and decide whether a move is right or even feasible for you at this time. I’ve been working entirely voluntarily for the last five years and I don’t wish to suddenly start charging for advice. However, feel free to donate if you think appropriate.
