Born and bred in the UK, I moved to Greece in my early twenties and never looked back. I now live in east Crete with my Greek family and run my own business. Having worked frequently with the Greek state sector too along the way, I’d say I have in-depth knowledge of how things work out here. So, after the decision by the UK to withdraw from the EU, I decided to put my practical skills to good use by taking on the role of sole admin of the citizens’ rights Facebook group ‘British in Greece’. Since then, I’ve increased its membership from just 13 members to 13,000 and have helped many secure their rights to carry on living and working in Greece by providing well-sourced, individually-tailored, hands-on advice.
